For those who don't want to get their hands dirty overhauling their own, engine builder Bruce Turrentine (who supplied the engine currently flying in our RV-4 and for our "in process" RV-8) will build RENESIS rotaries in various configurations.

** Lapped housing quality control limits the amount of material removed from factory surface to .003. Housings requiring more than .003 machining are rejected. It is my opinion that lapped housings are very cost effective and equally dependable as new units.

Notes

 1:  Aviation mods include: Removal casting flash and  deburring  housings. Misc. emissions ports plugged. Engine converted to run on premix. Removal of oil filter boss for cowl clearance. (Oil main is internally bypassed) Provisions for PSRU oil supply. From housing modified to run without gasket between front housing and front cover.

2: Accessory kit includes: Stock Pulleys, Water Pump Housing, Injectors, Injector rails, Stock intake and Throttle body, Crank Angle Sensor, Oil pan, Dust shields, Bolts related to listed components. (All accessory components are good used take-offs. They are guaranteed only to useable at the time of delivery and are not subject to the terms of the general engine warranty)
