RA Classic Springs are suitable for use on all cars EXCEPT true high performance race cars. For HIGH BOOST TURBO RACE cars, we recommend RA Racing springs (available on this web site) or Mazda stock springs (available at your Mazda dealer)

"By the way the current apex seals are great..the one 13BTT engine rebuild so far did come back with very low compression severely damaged from abuse the rotors are dented in on the combustion sides just above the pockets with all round corner seals broken and a number of side seals rammed into the rotors!! These seals offer 700% more bending strength and are 85% harder than the current after market competitors (Atkins and Hurley).

One of the main reasons for developing this product is to correct a problem seen in other seals - the tendency for them to develop chipped corners, especially under severe conditions such as detonation in turbo applications. Even though these new seals are harder, they are much less brittle than previously developed products.

Our seals are running in hundreds of race and street cars throughout the world, including some of the top rotary drag car running as much as 35 psi of boost!
